RHS – The Friday night match-up between Erwin and Reynolds pushed back to Saturday (September 14th) because of rain was another in the loss column for the Warriors (now 0-4) as their winless season continued with a loss to the Rockets, 53-0.

The Rockets’ scoring came with 12 points in the first quarter and 27 points in the second, with a touchdown and extra point in each of the second half quarters to give them the 53-0 win.

According to stats found on the Maxpreps.com website, Reynolds had 281 passing yards and 52 rushing yards for a combined 333 yards. Erwin had not entered any of their stats for yardage. The Rockets’ workhorse for the night was Senior Jhari Patterson, who produced 18 of their points, followed by Senior Don Mosely with 12 points and Seniors M. Jackson and Seth Eberhardt and Junior Carter Lindsay, each with six points.

Erwin has scored only 31 points so far this season as compared to the 2017-2018 season when they also started with four losses but did have 67 points. They will meet a 1-3 Asheville Cougars team at home on Friday.
